a pretty-looking disease, Cristulariella depraedans
Cristulariella depraedans is a pretty pretty parasite huh.... like trees have enough problems as it stands but I'm always gonna set time aside for parasite appreciation.
I didn't know until recently that it (grey mold spot / sycamore leaf spot / bull's-eye spot) could manifest as such agate-like concentric rings.
As far as I can find C. depraedans isn't out causing major problems at the moment (though diseases w/ the same / similar common names are problems... common names not great) , just going about doing its usual parasite things. Though it seems to be branching out (ahah) to new hosts, maybe with climate change [ Lang, 2000, New hosts of Cristulariella depraedans ]
